"articleBody": "<p class="texto">A australiana Laura Enever bateu o recorde feminino da onda mais alta surfada sem ajuda de jet-ski, atingindo 13,3 metros, anunciou nesta quinta-feira (9) o Guinness World Records. </p>
<p class="texto">O recorde foi obtido no dia 22 de janeiro, quando a surfista de 31 anos enfrentou a onda gigante na costa da ilha havaiana de Oahu. </p>
<p class="texto">A marca só foi anunciada onze meses depois porque os jurados do Guinness Book tiveram que fazer várias verificações antes de aceitá-la. </p>
<p class="texto">O recorde anterior pertencia a Andrea Moller com 12,8 metros, que o manteve por oito anos. </p>
<p class="texto">Outras surfistas domaram ondas maiores, mas com a ajuda de jet-skis para se lançarem.</p>
<p class="texto">Enever enfrentou uma parede de água somente com a força de seus braços. </p>
<p class="texto">Em um vídeo publicado pela World Surf League é possível ver a surfista tomando posição e depois descendo até à base da onda, antes de ser engolida por uma grande nuvem de espuma. </p>
<p class="texto">"Quando a onda veio eu estava no lugar ideal", disse Enever, entrevistada pelo Sydney Morning Herald. </p>
<p class="texto">"Eu me virei e só tive que dar algumas braçadas, foi como se a onda me levasse junto", acrescentou. </p>
<p class="texto">"Eu sabia que era grande quando remei, mas foi quando olhei para frente que disse 'é uma longa descida, é a maior onda que já peguei'", continuou ela. "Estou muito feliz, não há nada melhor". </p>
<p class="texto">O alemão Sebastian Steudtner detém o recorde absoluto da maior onda surfada, com 26,21 metros, em outubro de 2020, em Nazaré (Portugal), mas ele conseguiu a façanha com a ajuda de um jet-ski.</p>

O recorde foi obtido no dia 22 de janeiro, quando a surfista de 31 anos enfrentou a onda gigante na costa da ilha havaiana de Oahu.
A marca só foi anunciada onze meses depois porque os jurados do Guinness Book tiveram que fazer várias verificações antes de aceitá-la.
O recorde anterior pertencia a Andrea Moller com 12,8 metros, que o manteve por oito anos.
Outras surfistas domaram ondas maiores, mas com a ajuda de jet-skis para se lançarem.
Enever enfrentou uma parede de água somente com a força de seus braços.
Em um vídeo publicado pela World Surf League é possível ver a surfista tomando posição e depois descendo até à base da onda, antes de ser engolida por uma grande nuvem de espuma.
"Quando a onda veio eu estava no lugar ideal", disse Enever, entrevistada pelo Sydney Morning Herald.
"Eu me virei e só tive que dar algumas braçadas, foi como se a onda me levasse junto", acrescentou.
"Eu sabia que era grande quando remei, mas foi quando olhei para frente que disse 'é uma longa descida, é a maior onda que já peguei'", continuou ela. "Estou muito feliz, não há nada melhor".
O alemão Sebastian Steudtner detém o recorde absoluto da maior onda surfada, com 26,21 metros, em outubro de 2020, em Nazaré (Portugal), mas ele conseguiu a façanha com a ajuda de um jet-ski.
