"articleBody": "<p class="texto">O presidente do Senado, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), disse nesta terça-feira (26/9) que o Congresso vai discutir se vale a pena manter ou derrubar a possibilidade de reeleição no país. A medida que aria a valer só após a corrida eleitoral de 2026. Para o senador, a possibilidade de reeleição, que entrou em vigor em 1998, não foi positiva.</p>
<p class="texto">"O sentimento que tenho em conversas com senadores e líderes partidários é que o instituto de reeleição não foi bom para o Brasil. Ela acaba prejudicando a independência do mandatário", afirmou, referindo-se à contaminação das decisões em função das perspectivas eleitorais.</p>

<p class="texto">Pacheco disse que será iniciada uma sessão de debates no plenário do Senado para tratar da Proposta de Emenda à Constituição (PEC) de autoria do senador Jorge Kajuru (Podemos-GO). O texto veta a reeleição para cargos do Poder Executivo em nível federal, estadual e municipal e amplia o tempo dos mandatos de quatro para cinco anos. Essa proposta de debates já foi acertada no colégio de líderes e entrará em andamento logo.</p>
<p class="texto">"É um tema que vamos nos dedicar", ressaltou. "É um debate profícuo, e, eventualmente, a conclusão pode ser que, para o Brasil, o melhor é o fim da reeleição".</p>
<p class="texto">Em caso de mudança, Isso ficaria para depois das eleições de 2026. "Qualquer mudança deve resguardar os atuais mandatários", ponderou.</p>
<p class="texto">Pacheco participou nesta terça do Fórum Brasileiro de Incorporadoras (Incorpora 2023), evento que reúne empresários da construção e autoridades públicas, organizado pela Associação Brasileira de Incorporadoras Imobiliárias (Abrainc).</p>

O presidente do Senado, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), disse nesta terça-feira (26/9) que o Congresso vai discutir se vale a pena manter ou derrubar a possibilidade de reeleição no país. A medida que aria a valer só após a corrida eleitoral de 2026. Para o senador, a possibilidade de reeleição, que entrou em vigor em 1998, não foi positiva.
"O sentimento que tenho em conversas com senadores e líderes partidários é que o instituto de reeleição não foi bom para o Brasil. Ela acaba prejudicando a independência do mandatário", afirmou, referindo-se à contaminação das decisões em função das perspectivas eleitorais.
Pacheco disse que será iniciada uma sessão de debates no plenário do Senado para tratar da Proposta de Emenda à Constituição (PEC) de autoria do senador Jorge Kajuru (Podemos-GO). O texto veta a reeleição para cargos do Poder Executivo em nível federal, estadual e municipal e amplia o tempo dos mandatos de quatro para cinco anos. Essa proposta de debates já foi acertada no colégio de líderes e entrará em andamento logo.
"É um tema que vamos nos dedicar", ressaltou. "É um debate profícuo, e, eventualmente, a conclusão pode ser que, para o Brasil, o melhor é o fim da reeleição".
Em caso de mudança, Isso ficaria para depois das eleições de 2026. "Qualquer mudança deve resguardar os atuais mandatários", ponderou.
Pacheco participou nesta terça do Fórum Brasileiro de Incorporadoras (Incorpora 2023), evento que reúne empresários da construção e autoridades públicas, organizado pela Associação Brasileira de Incorporadoras Imobiliárias (Abrainc).
